Our Defence Minister Ahmad Zaid Hamidi ACTUALLY stated this in the Parliment : the reason Chinese and Indians made up only a tiny proportion of Army recruits was because their "patriotism spirit is not high enough".
How would you feel if you were like me, a Malaysian?
Unbelievable.
It's disgusting, ya know? To live in somewhere where racism flies around that i called home. High-profile but clearly overrated people ( ANYBODY involved with politics ) can get away with crimes and racism remarks as long as they are in power or a clear evidence of wealth, while normal citizens as us are being toyed by ill-minded politicians.
How? Simple. Example, alright? Let's say some rakyat did something that only barely shows any act of racism. This particular imaginary politician, let's call him A, is yelling and screaming about this rakyat's wrong-doings and what his punishment should be.
Why? Because this is a tactic showing anti-racist fanatics that he is doing hell of a job. Thus, they will like him enough to support him, vote for him in the future post or whatever it is. For other simple-minded rakyats, they will just go 'oh, he's doing his job. Okay, at least he's better than others-lah."
Eventually A will be on top. But whether will he do a good job or torture the rakyat - that's a completely other story.
And i'm just a 17 year old telling an imaginary story.
What i want to say is. I'm a Malaysian citizen. It kills me when people said that i'm not patriotic. If a few years back this comment comes out i'll probably storm out and lash and go all 'fark you' and all that. But no. I've learned that lashing out on things isn't exactly going to change anything to good. I, as a rakyat, would like to plead you politicians to do what your job is supposed to do instead of giving a not-a-second-thought comment and expect people to respect you. If you have absolutely NO characters of a good politicians but just sit there and suck our hard-work money from tax (bloody, bloody taxes) to sit ALONE in your 380-room mansion, if so, please leave immediately.
The truth's getting out. The rakyats are getting smarter. And we are not tolerating any longer.
Pfft. Tax in Malaysia. Don't even let me go there. Where does it all go? Are we ACTUALLY getting better transportation, better road conditions, better in lots of basic things? Go ahead and drive your car around town. Your car would probably weep and die hitting those potholes on the road. My 1st generation CRV already has Parkinson disease. And besides, buying a car in Malaysia cost more than buying a car in UK. That's the reason why lots of Malaysian just set sail for UK and say hello to Audi R8 and say bye-bye to Proton. Just sayin'.
OH about the 100 tower thing? Yeah. Googled it on the net. Found out that there's forums that has members from all over the world, criticizing about Malaysia's plan in building that money-wasting piece. They laughed, feel hopeless and feel that our government lacks priority-thinking - for US Malaysians. How pathetic is that?
And what's the funniest thing i've heard about this incident? Tan Sri
Muhyiddin Yassin stated that PNB should ignore the critics of the RM5 Billion project, because -they are jealous-. And i quote : "They are probably jealous that PNB has the capability to embark such a big project that will benefit the country."
I had the biggest belly laugh ever.
*settles myself from laughter*
There's just so many things wrong about this project. We shall laugh together.

Anything can happen in Malaysia, ain't it? It's actually quite funny how things work. But there are some people being dead because of hows things work, so not that funny, really. Anybody know about the recent Batu Sapi and Galas by-election? If no, then i suggest you look it through.
Now here's one of the funny things about Malaysia, click the link below to see the full report.
According to reports, there are 156 people who are above 100 years old appeared in the electoral rolls of the by-election!
You might go : "There are people who live over 100 years old, not that surprising, i guess."
OH i'm sorry, because it turns out, they are actually dead.
Ahhh tactics.
