i don't want to be a bland, unhealthy and artificial cereal box.

i get that you're pretty. We ALL get it. but is there need of taking 1473965 photos of yourself AND bring yourself to a standard of calling yourself ugly? IF there is even a slight chance of you thinking that the photos were unpleasant, there's no hell of a way that you would post it, for Buddha's sake! It's logical thinking. Hey there's nothing wrong bout it, everybody does that! Who wants to post a shit-faced photo of themselves and let the world to see and actually not wanting to slice your own face off?

If you're pretty and you admit it, at least it's not a bad thing. But if you are, and you said that you're fugly, i have absolutely nothing to say.

Situation :
-posts a photo-
*
Caption : "I know i am ugly."
*
-people complimenting-
*
Replied with : "No i'm not hahaha stop it! *4-chan face *"

lolWHAT?!

*face-palm*

Relax. Before you go self-admitting that i'm talking about you ( this might be the perasan ones : oh, oh oh my God, she's talking about me! Oh no, i have 1473964 photos. Oh darn you have found my weak spot. I hate you. *trashes in Cbox* ) , it's just a random profile of someone i do NOT know ( From Johor or something?). And who knows i stumble upon something THIS traumatic. Just sayin'.

----------------------

Being awake for more than 28 hours straight is something i would usually not do. The maximum hours i was awake was probably, yeah, not that much. However, believe or not, or maybe it's just how my body and mind are designed which i believe it is much different than all of you (!) , I've been able to focus in studies AND blurt out absolute random crap, juggling both VERY well.

The thoughts from class today and after reading Aziz's SAT books pretty much conclude into what i am about to type below. And these are just my thoughts, which doesn't really says right or wrong. Depends on your OWN thinking.

Marks in examinations. To me, it doesn't really matter because my parents are flexible, as long as i don't get into the whole idiotic crap package like doing drugs / smoking / randomly having sex, but getting average results then i'm a-okay. BUT. There are parents who want a bright future for their kids, that they want their children to score 90% and above. Yeah, when you see the sentence, yeah it doesn't really affect much, because hey, we're Asians, it's a pattern.

It's like directing a lamp and shine straight at them. But some parents tend to go overboard. In the end it just give the kids sunburn.

But what concerns me is that kids might get stressed out, having traumatic experiences, because some parents might get out the cane and whack the shit out of us. To me, numbers doesn't really matter. Yes, grades are important. But being over-obsessive over numbers just don't make sense to me.

Our education system has somewhat became an information-absorbing system. We absorb not to learn - in order to get more marks in exams. It's all about marks marks marks that sum up, bringing you between getting an A or an A+. Honestly speaking, so what kids had an excellent grades? With this education system still up and going, i fear that children are gonna become card box - boring. With no subject charging children's unique way of creativity, inspiration doesn't stay with you forever - with constant card-box technique in education, it may drain out any beautiful difference between one child and another.

How twisted is that? I imagine this as a factory, producing thousands and thousands of thoughtless zombies. That is scary. Not to mention it's against rights of channeling your individuality!

I'm extremely lucky because my parents are flexible, modern and not to mention, nice. I get to pour my energy into different things like music, books and most importantly friends. And not friends who feed you drugs and go 'yeaaah this iz teh shyt man, try it outttt.' I'm fortunate to be studying around lovely people who express themselves in a way they should.

However, there are still things lacking in order to educate kids, so that the younger generation can be more civilized, smart and using more logical-thinking.

Sex education. This is one of the issues that was frequently mentioned - but it's never ever done. In the newspapers headlines smack you on the face, reading 'sex education is important' or 'sex education is the key to prevent baby-dumping'. But all we hear are noises.

Multiple sources gave multiple excuses. Thus nobody do anything, what, you just sit around and wish for someone to say : "HEY! I found the perfect teachings / objectives for sex education!"

There's no such thing. It all comes down to working together - individually, family, society and most importantly - the country. Without brainstorming and researches, this will always be an empty dream.

There are thousands of baby-dumping cases. AIDS/HIV cases are on the rise. Some say it's is an touchy and sensitive subject, thus slowly it fades away, thinking the problem will go away on its own, just because they are embarrassed to talk about it.

There is absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. We're in such an amazing era, where technology and science morph together, magnificently. We're talking about humans here. You and me. What's with the 'i must create problems for myself because i just can't bloody adopt changes' attitude?

Besides sex education, kids these days lack critical thinking and also manners. Additional mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry - they score and PWNED the subjects. But when it comes to issue that involve critical thinking - they were stunned like deer in headlights. Because all these while education system has been training them how to answer questions on paper - not in life.

Manners. Man, this is one hell of a problem here in Malaysia. I've been raised of having an invisible but steel-strong respect for elders. Doesn't matter it's a stranger or a teacher or your family members, have some respect. I see little trolls these days running around, being bad-ass. Being cool.

My foot in your face, more likely.

It doesn't show how 'cool' you are. Honestly it makes you look like a complete uncivilized fool. If the future leaders are some ill-mannered bastards, might as well jump down from the Penang Bridge than letting these people running a nation. Contoh-lah.

In conclusion : it's bloody time for a change.

Signing off,
Mongie
